As Hurricane Sandy did her worst to New York City I decided to take some photos from my window in Brooklyn. While I as doing so, a power transformer blew creating a thunderous bang as Manhattan’s east side lost its power.

Pride Parade 2012. This year’s parade was a huge milestone for the LGBT community, it was the first parade to be held where Same Sex Marriage is legal in the state of New York.
